More than 10 tons of snow fell at the Adrienne Arsht Center this monring, in Miami-Dade county, to herald the arrival of the internationally acclaimed Slava’s snowshow. In order to make it snow in South Florida, we take tons and tons of ice and run it through a chippper, that blows the ‘snow‘ out. Within minutes this mass freezes over and becomes an ice pack. That does not deter kids from snow ball fights, that end up to be more like ice projectiles. Getting hit by one of them is murder on the equipment.
