I can’t believe it’s fall again. The leaves are changing, there is a crisp coolness in the air, … well not quite … it’s been in the high 80′s in Miami, but we do know how to celebrate the arrival of that season we never get to have here: pumpkins – those big orange gourds that kids love to make into faces. Take a look at some photos of my kids picking out their pumpkin and carving them over the weekend.

GIPA, the German Americal Parent Association, celebrates it’s annual Octoberfest as a fundraiser for the German Language program in Miami, FL. Students enjoy traditional german food and home made deserts as well as games and fun with their parents, teachers and friends.
